PHP version: 4.0 Release Candidate 2
PHP Bug Type: Misbehaving function
Bug description: printf() hexademical format problem
printf("%x", $var);
will not output anything if $var is 256, 512, 1024 etc.
In other words, $var has a value 2 to the power of x, where x is an integer > 7. Therefore, 128
will produce output, as will 64, 32 etc.
All other numbers (eg. 0125) print out OK. Also, if a constant is placed instead of a var, this bug
doesn't occur work, ie.
printf("%x", 1024);
will print out 400.
My setup is standard, apart from the postgreSQL module I have loaded in.
I apologise if this bug has been found and exterminated, but I did not find any information
indicating so.
