I can't make any sense from your example... It doesn't seem to be self-contained - it
refers to isnum.inc which isn't included, and to $example which doesn't appear to be
defined either.
If the problem persists in PHP 4.0.0 (release), please try to write the shortest self-contained
piece of code that demonstrates it, and submit a new bug report.
