PHP Bug Type: Compile Failure
Bug description: Undefined syslog symbol at compile time
/bin/sh /u/php4/libtool --silent --mode=link cc -belf -o php
-export-dynamic stub.lo libphp4.la
Undefined first referenced
symbol in file
syslog .libs/libphp4.a(syslog.o)
configure line had no additional options. System syslog is in socket library
and was included in the link command.
This version has the new php_syslog.h file with the comment
SCO OpenServer 5 defines syslog to var_syslog/std_syslog..............
Using SCO Openserver 5.0.5 with cc compiler. No bison, flex etc installed.
All operatings sytem and devlopment patches installed.
