I reported a nearly identical bug (#4360) and can assure you that a
problem still exists. Whether this problem is due to FreeBSD, Apache or
PHP I cannot be sure. The only way I have been able to use PHP 4's
sessions is to set my own save handler functions. Sascha logged into my
system and tried to locate the source of the problem but as far as I know
no solution was found.
