Hi, 1.) I´ve written a benchmark class and in order to simplify the UI I´ve put the code the user can benchmark in another included file, I´ve experienced an up to 90% (!!!) *performance loss* compared to *typed code* - is it possible to store included data in any type of *cache*, variable cache? my workaround was to to fopen() -> while(feof) -> fgets() and read it into a (string) and use eval() then, 2.) if possible I would like to avoid eval() 3.) I´ve also noticed then that there´s *no function* which reads an *entire file into a string* (there´s one reading a file into an array sure), I think that could be handy 4.) Trying to do a better workaround I´ve tried out <<< the here docs to put the whole code into a string, then I´ve noticed that it isn´t possible to <<< pipe everyting between <<<ENDOFHERE and ENDOFHERE; into a (string) *without* having the code evalulated, I think this could be extremely handy too.... tested on cvs 10.6. - opt. b4 regards -- o----------0-¬---------O-·---¬----o---®-----o o O ° . | http://www.kiffen.de | pRoteçt y0ur bRaín |0 O ° ¤ ° · 0°·³°²'²³-¹'³´³°^°³~³²³°'³²²¨³²^³¹³²°²³`³º³°Þ ° o © ° . · | psychedelic experience | gott@kiffen.de | O ° o ° o-¬--o--0-----©-·--O-----o-----0-¤----------o 0 ° · ° . ¤ ·
