first:
i want to use apache+php to connect to a database of oracle805.
the situation is that i install the apache1.3.16 and php3 in a sun
workstation,the workstation have already install a database of
oracle7. so when i compile the apache&php i do not install another
oracle805 database in it. then, can i connect to another machine which install a oracle805 database
using php?
second:
when use ora_logon() to connect to the oracle database. some strange
things happen. when i use ora_logon("abc@www","abc") i can connect to
the database,but the @www is not define in my tnsnames.ora file.
when i use ora_logon("abc@abc","abc") i can not connect to the database,
but the @abc is define in my tnsnames.ora file.
and i can connect to database use both tnsname using sqlplus at the client.
