Exception handling

Hi, My implementation of CORBA support is soon getting past the prototype phase, and I'm now looking at exception handling. Exception handling in C is done with a special CORBA_Environment structure and function set. I will have to implement the PHP support similarly with an Environment object that must be checked after every operation, unless there is a more clever way to do it in PHP. Any suggestions?
