PHP version: 4.0 Latest CVS (22/06/2000)
PHP Bug Type: Misbehaving function
Bug description: functions strstr and stristr always return 0 or false
The following snippets of code do not return the rest of the string after the match:
printf( "RESULT: %s<br>", strstr( "is", "this is a test" ) );
or
printf( "RESULT: %s<br>", stristr( "is", "this is a test" ) );
They both always return 0/false
