XML extension not self contained

I also wanted to suggest copying the expat and the XML extension header files to the target include directory so that other extensions that rely on XML (like WDDX and domxml) can be compiled as self-contained extensions. BTW, could you give me a hint how I could turn the WDDX extension into a self-contained one (unfortunately I am not a C programmer)? Regards, Stefan
