Hi there,
I'm a little bit confused with the configuration of the ext/java
module.
The following configuration works fine for me, but I don't know why:
[Java]
java.class.path = e:\server\apache\php\extensions\php_java.jar
java.home = d:\anwendungen\jdk
java.library = d:\anwendungen\jdk\jre\bin\hotspot\jvm.dll
java.library.path = e:\server\apache\php\extensions\
What I find confusing is, that java.library refers to the JVM (.dll)
and java.library.path to the path, where the php_java.jar is located.
It took me quite some time and trials to figure out the above
configuration, as at first sight tried
java.library = jvm.dll
java.library.path = d:\anwendungen\jdk\jre\bin\hotspot\
which seemed logical to me.
The following configuration, as descriped in ext/java/README doesn't
work at all:
[Java]
java.class.path = e:\server\apache\php\extensions\php_java.jar
extension=php_java.dll
It only produces a
"Fatal error: Unable to load Java Library jvm.dll in
e:\server\apache\htdocs\java\jver.php on line 4"
error message when trying to execute the sample script jver.php.
