I've followed the instructions on creating a backtrace but have been
unsuccessful. I'm running PHP4.0.0 as a static apache module.
I've tried the first method of running httpd -X. The apache bin directory
had write access. I then accessed the page that produces the crash but a
core file wasn't created. I then tried the second method. Here are the
details:
<console snip>
[root@web5 bin]# gdb /usr/local/apache/bin/httpd
GNU gdb 19991004

This GDB was configured as "i386-redhat-linux"...
(gdb) run -X
Starting program: /usr/local/apache/bin/httpd -X
Program exited with code 01.
(gdb) bt
No stack.
(gdb)
</console snip>
Anyone know what I'm doing wrong? I'm running this as Root.
Jason
