I finally got annoyed enough at configure being broken for sybase-ct to wade through the autoconf stuff and try to fix it. But since I've never messed with autoconf before I'm not sure if I fixed it the Right Way so I'm posting a patch to configure.in here for some autoconf guru to pass judgement on and commit or reject. This appears to get things configured correctly on Solaris, Linux with version 11 ct-lib, and Linux with version 10 ct-lib. It's just a matter of deciding between -ltcl and -lsybtcl, and figuring out whether to use -linsck. The patch is based on a slightly old version of configure.in, I can't get the latest because of some apparent sprintlink breakage between here and ca.php.net, but it should apply cleanly. *** configure.in.x Sun Oct 4 17:19:11 1998 --- configure.in Thu Nov 5 16:04:02 1998 *************** *** 843,848 **** --- 867,874 ---- directory, defaults to /home/sybase.], [ if test "$withval" != "no"; then + AC_MSG_RESULT(yes) + AC_DEFINE(HAVE_SYBASE_CT) if test "$withval" = "yes"; then SYBASE_CT_INCDIR=/home/sybase/include SYBASE_CT_LIBDIR=/home/sybase/lib *************** *** 852,860 **** fi SYBASE_CT_INCLUDE=-I$SYBASE_CT_INCDIR SYBASE_CT_LFLAGS="-L$SYBASE_CT_LIBDIR" !
