From: karen.turner@opus.co.nz Operating system: Solaris 2.6 PHP version: 4.0.0 Release PHP Bug Type: Compile Failure Bug description: Configure can not locate gdbm.h Replicated with ./configure --with-gdbm=/opt/gnu and where you don't have gdgm.h on an include path that gcc would pickup by default. When checking out where gdgm.h is checking for gdbm.h... no Try /usr/local/include/gdbm.h checking for /usr/local/include/gdbm.h... no Try /opt/local/include/gdbm.h checking for /opt/local/include/gdbm.h... no Try /usr/pkg/include/gdbm.h checking for /usr/pkg/include/gdbm.h... no Giving up - You need to install gdbm.h somewhere Shouldn't configure also have used the argument given to the --with-gdbm option, as it does for other packages?
