Apache Segfault problem getting worse

I'm running Apache 1.3.12 and the latest CVS php4.0.1 (just updated) compiled with "./configure --with-apxs=/usr/sbin/apxs --with-mysql --with-imap --with-xml --en able-track-vars --with-ldap --with-config-file-path=/etc/httpd --with-gettext -- enable-trans-sid " I get "[notice] child pid 11844 exit signal Segmentation fault (11)" in my apache error log every time I try to use sessions with the latest CVS update.
