Howdy,
I just built PHP4 with Java support:
./configure --with-mysql --with-apxs=/path/to/apxs
--with-dom --with-java
and it built just fine; A test page containing <? phpinfo(); ?>
displayed what was expected.
However, trying to call the sample jver.php gave me:
Fatal error: Unable to load Java Library
/path/to/java/jre/lib/i386/libjava.so in
/path/to/script/jver.php on line 4
I'm using:
* Redhat Linux 6.1
* java version "1.2.2"
Classic VM (build Linux_JDK_1.2.2_RC4, native threads, sunwjit)
* PHP4-RC2
And followed the /path/to/php-4.0RC2/ext/java/README directions:
--
========================================================================
=== JVM=Blackdown 1.2.2 RC4, OS=Redhat Linux 6.1 ===
========================================================================
build instructions:
./configure --with-java
php.ini:
[java]
java.class.path=/path/to/my/php/lib/php_java.jar
extension_dir=/path/to/my/modules
extension=libphp_java.so
--
libjava.so, php_java.jar, and libphp_java.so are present and accounted
for.
Any ideas?
Rael
