Zend API doc again

Hi, I have previously posted a message about an extension i would write. Is anyone can put some answser for this list of stupid question. PHP_MINIT_FUNCTION(ext) : Call when the module is loaded ?. Is it mean is called when one of the ext function is called for the first time or when the module the php module is loaded. In my previously posted message(23/06 - 14:05), i have build a little extension (ats) to understand the MINIT role and the global scope. I was surprised by the result. If the MINIT function reset a global counter (like num_persistent in php_mysql.c), why this global counter can't have a correct value between php script call. PHP_MSHUTDOWN_FUNCTION(ext) : Call when apache shutdown. When php module is unloaded ? PHP_RINIT_FUNCTION(ext): Call each time when one of the ext function is called or when a new php child process is created ? PHP_RSHUTDOWN_FUNCTION(ext) When a child process is killed ? PHP_GINIT_FUNCTION(ext) ? PHP_GSHUTDOWN_FUNCTION(ext) ? ZEND_BEGIN_MODULE_GLOBALS(ext) ZEND_END_MODULE_GLOBALS(ext) ZEND_DECLARE_MODULE_GLOBALS(ext) ZEND_INIT_MODULE_GLOBALS(ext, function_to_init_global, ?) View in php_mysql ext. What's difference between the 'old' way (struct declaraction) and this set of define. What's difference between standard C globals and globals uses with the ZEND_xxx_MODULE_GLOBALS. I mean by this, the difference at scope level. About functions arguments : In php_mysql.c ZEND_NUM_ARGS() zend_get_parameters_ex(numarg, [*arg1,*..]) convert_to_xxx_ex(**arg1) In other (eg: php_msql.c by the author of php_mysql.c) use of ht : getParameters(ht, numarg, [*arg1,*..] convert_to_xxx(**arg) Why these two manner. Is the ht way became old ? May be for difference between php3 and php4 About php functions declaration : In php_mysql.c : PHP_FUNCTION(myfunction) In php_msql.c DLEXPORT PHP_FUNCTION(myfunction) What is the difference ? I have many question about the use of the symbol table and persistent list, but i first waiting for some answer for this list of question.
