I?d suppose using
while($tok!==FALSE);
or even shorter
$str='test-test2-test3-0-sadf';
$tok=strtok ($str,"-");
while (($tok=strtok ("-"))!==FALSE) echo "->$tok<BR>\n";

Use != "" or something like that.
