From: deekayen@atthat.com Operating system: Win98 SE PHP version: 4.0.1 PHP Bug Type: Reproduceable crash Bug description: Premature end of script headers I'm having some header trouble with 4.0.1. When I load a page I get the windows *ding* sound and netscape says Host contacted, waiting for reply. The instance of php.exe seems to be stuck running in memory (till I crash it). Here's what my apache error.log says: [Thu Jun 29 15:35:09 2000] [error] [client 127.0.0.1] Premature end of script headers: c:/apache/cgi-bin/php.exe and then after I crash the php.exe instance, it spits out: HTTP/1.1 500 Internal Server Error Date: Thu, 29 Jun 2000 20:41:17 GMT Server: Apache/1.3.12 (Win32) Connection: close Content-Type: text/html; charset=iso-8859-1 [generated html error message here] Apparently it's only getting as far as "HTTP/1.1" before it dies. I traced it down to the "extension=php_mysql.dll" line in php.ini. When I have it uncommented, it dies, when I have it commented, I can't do anything with mysql.
