I think that's a bad idea.
There will already be a (currently only german speaking)
conference, held on 10/05/2000 - 10/06/2000 (you know
this) at Cologne/Germany. We expect to have Ratschiller,
Gerken, Schumann, Aulbach, perhaps Arntzen, Wendel,
Steinmann, ... for recitals. It's the first conference
for PHP users world wide (IIRC) and at the moment 391
people seem to be interested in it as they have subscribed
our newsletter at www.php-kongress.de.
I would be happy to see an international PHP conference
on its own next year.
PHP is too mature and too big to have a little
conference inside the Linux Day.
