From: ggabor@sopron.hu Operating system: Linux PHP version: 4.0.1pl2 PHP Bug Type: Session related Bug description: url parameter get's overwritten If you have compiled php with --enable-trans-sid and session.use_cookies is disabled, then... - in whatever.php: ... $something = "first"; ?> <a href="http://x.com?id=<? echo $something; ?>"> - and what you see from the browser: <a href="http://x.com?id=&SessX=2352342525"> - but it should be: <a href="http://x.com?id=first&SessX=2352342525"> as you can see, the url's end gets overwritten. somebody on php-general said, it would be fixed in php 4.0.1.. but it's still wrong.
