I added transaction support to Metabase MySQL driver but it seems that
MySQL does not pass the driver test for transaction. The problem seems to
happen at least when trying to rollback just inserted table rows.
There are some requirements regarding to which types tables MySQL supports
transactions. It seems that the transactions test fails even when
satisfying those requirements. I'll try to make some time to build a test
case that is useful enough to make a bug report.
Anyway, those requirements should not exist and I hope they will be removed
from MySQL some time soon, because the way it is MySQL does not even fail
when rollback can't be performed. You certainly don't want to rely on faked
successful rollback because by then the data in your database may be very
inconsistent and your application may fail from then on.
