PHP Bug Type: Compile Failure
Bug description: pg_encoding_to_char not defined
I can no longer build the PostgreSQL extension after the changes made in ext/pgsql/pgsql.c version
1.62. The diff adds support for client encoding. The autoconf rule checks for the existence of
PQclientEncoding to determine of support for client encoding should be included. That function
exists in my version of libpq.a. However, in PHP_FUNCTION(pg_clientencoding), there's a
reference to pg_encoding_to_char, which is not a valid symbol in my libpq.a. This causes the linker
to die when building Apache.
