Hi, PHP Bug #5413 deals with a problem I've recently been introduced to in the Solid integration ports. For Solid DB's with a version number of 2.3 (and possibly 3.0) SQLINTEGER does not exist. There does exist a SQL_INTEGER though, which is of the same type. The question is should I typedef SQLINTEGER to a SQL_INTEGER where the HAVE_SOLID flag is defined? If you have any better solutions or suggestions I am open to hearing them! :) Thanks in advance > -----Original Message----- > From: hans@virginia.edu [mailto:hans@virginia.edu] > Sent: Thursday, July 06, 2000 2:13 PM > To: php-dev@lists.php.net > Subject: [PHP-DEV] PHP 4.0 Bug #5413: Errors during make when using > --with-openlink (only v4.0.1 or greater) > > > From: hans@virginia.edu > Operating system: Linux (Redhat 6.2) > PHP version: 4.0 Release Candidate 2 > PHP Bug Type: ODBC related > Bug description: Errors during make when using > --with-openlink (only v4.0.1 or greater) > > Exact error messages: > > php_odbc.c: In function `odbc_column_lengths': > php_odbc.c:606: `SQLINTEGER' undeclared (first use in this function) > php_odbc.c:606: (Each undeclared identifier is reported only once > php_odbc.c:606: for each function it appears in.) > php_odbc.c:606: parse error before `len' > php_odbc.c:634: `len' undeclared (first use in this function) > > I was able to get PHP to compile by doing the following: > * in /usr/local/openlink/odbcsdk/incoming/isql.h > I inserted the line: typedef long SQLINTEGER_FIX; > at line 9 > * in php_odbc.h > I inserted the line: #define SQLINTEGER SQLINTEGER_FIX > at line 117 > > > > > -- > PHP Development Mailing List <http://www.php.net/> > To unsubscribe, e-mail: php-dev-unsubscribe@lists.php.net > For additional commands, e-mail: php-dev-help@lists.php.net > To contact the list administrators, e-mail: > php-list-admin@lists.php.net >
