hi,
i seem to have quite a few problems with the php4apache.dll on win32.
source: latest cvs 2000-07-04 late afternoon (gmt)
apache: 1.3.12
compiler: ms visual c++ 6.0
os: win nt4 sp5
after a few workarounds compiling went through and i got a working
php4apache.dll.
i started with a page containing the famous phpinfo() and got a nice little
window telling me about an application error in apache.exe and that the
memory could not be written.
clicking on cancel starts the debugger, visual c++ opens and confronts me
with the next message: unhandled exception in apache.exe (php4ts.dll):
0xC0000005: access violation.
running the same page with php4 as cgi works fine, no errors.
has anyone come across the same problem yet?
i would like to find out what exactly is causing the problem but since my
knowledge of c is still not the best i need some advice what to do next.
should i compile php in debug mode?
still more questions than answers ;-)
cheers,
andreas
