I´ve played around with some scripts and made them y2037 compatible - I tried to, made tables store the date in a "datetime" (mysql,"YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS") ["timestamp" (Adabas,"YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS.MMMNNN")] format, but then I noticed that even all PHP scripts are not y2037 safe... Perhaps we should add some Date/Time functions that do not work externally with UNIX timestamps (which will be sufficient until 2037 (32Bit,signed) or 2104(or so) (64Bit,unsigned)). If PHP would internally work with UNIX timestamps, ok., but if date/time functions would be able to use that "datetime" format, the scripts do need no modification later and are y9999 safe). $d=y_datetime() would then return "2000-07-07 12:12:53" what is in datetime format and could be used with eg. print y_date("l dS of F Y h:i:s A",$d);
