PHP Bug Type: Compile Failure
Bug description: Failure to check for libxml version
The configure script does not check for the proper libxml version (libxml >= 2.0 being required,
I believe). This causes compilation to fail as libxml 1.x does not have the "children"
member to the xmlDoc struct.
