But why do you have to enter extension=php3_odbc.dll
in the php3.ini file, if you want to use ODBC?
Is this a virtual extension?
There is no php3.ini in PHP4, there´s a php.ini.
In php.in there´s in a php_odbc.dll, though leave it commented. You do not need it to use ODBC.
Stick a phpinfo() on a page and you´ll see that odbc suport is activated.
Query the php-general list if you´ve got no success.
