Operating system: Any
PHP version: 3.0.2a
PHP Bug Type: Documentation problem
Bug description:
The PHP3 documentation is missing the excellent 2.x instructions for invoking script via Apache
module by interpreting the filename extension. Previous versions used ".phtml" while the
new instructions make rare reference to ".php3" Some people only learn of the new
extension by downloading the binary version of PHP3 and seeing it in the
README. (The Linux httpd-php3 binary is missing needed libs and doesn't work!)
