Question using PHP3

Hi to all, i've the following questions: 1. If I make a web page using PHP3 scripting and i put it on a FREE web site (such as Geosities, Xoom, Tripod.......) can i view it in the correct mode? 2. I've installed binaries version of Apache+PHP3, when i start apache i get no message errors, but i want to test it. How can I do it? I've only to put a web page based on PHP3 in my apache and load it? If yes, where can i find a simple page using PHP3 that's work as well? Thanks to all.
