Static Apache module and extra libraries

When I link my PHP extension as a static Apache module, I get unresolved
references for libraries I have specified in LTLIBRARY_LDFLAGS in my
Makefile.in. Everything works when I add them manually to the LIBS entry in
apache/src/modules/php4/libphp4.module. Can this be done for me by the build
system? Time for me to really learn autoconf?
