Yes, it is possible. There are two parts to the solution. First the
'directory' /to in your example URL's actually needs to be the php
program. You need to add:
<location /to>
ForceType application/x-httpd-php
</location>
either in your httpd.conf for hte VirtualDomain, or maybe in a .htaccess
file. This makes the php program named to run whenever someone hits a
URL in that 'directory branch'.
Second, once you have the ForceType in effect start with a php program
that does a phpinfo() and look at the variables near the bottom of
the report. You will find sevaral of them with various views of the URL
that was entered. $PATH_INFO may be of interest, but look at them and
find the best suited for your needs.
