CVS problem?

Good Day (night if you prefer),
My cvs update of the phpweb tree continually complains about:
"cvs server: nothing known about phpweb/distributions/php-3.0.6-win32.zip"
My update command is:
"/usr/bin/cvs -q -d:pserver:mirror@ca.php.net:/repository update phpweb"
Any ideas?
I hope this is the right forum for this? If not, well, I wish I could
reimburse the wasted time and bandwith.....
