Subject: [PHP-DEV] PHP 4.0 Bug #5646: fwrite() in CGI php.exe doesn't make a CR/LF for
"\\n" but just a linefeed char
From: joel@intwebservices.com
Operating system: WINDOWS NT 4.0
PHP version: 4.0.1pl2
PHP Bug Type: Misbehaving function
Bug description: fwrite() in CGI php.exe doesn't make a CR/LF for "\\n" but just a
linefeed char
$dataStr="text data"."\\n";
$writeSuccess=fwrite ($textFilehandle, $dataStr);
The log file will have just a HEX "0a" char instead of HEX "0D 0A" .
It worked ok for the ISAPI module but when I switched to the CGI php I noticed the difference.
