Hi there. I´m new at this list, and also new in php programming. I´m having a big problem, that I couldn´t solve anyway. Maybe some of you can help me.
Then subscribe to php-general, that´s the right list for you purpose. php-dev is for PHP development only. Anyway...
The problem is that, when I set a cookie, I can´t retrieve it later. The cookie is created like follows (and I can see it in the directory): $cookie=$variable setcookie(cookie,$cript,time()+600,"/","",1);
Are you sure you´re using a secure connection (eg. SSL, https://)? If not (what I assume) leave out the last argument. Try this: setcookie('cookie','test',time()+600,"/"); If that did not help check your configuration and read the comment on your php.ini (register_globals, variables order...) There always can be many reasons. Remember you mustn´t send anything but header informations (if output buffering disabled) or your cookie won´t be set. regards -- o----------0-¬---------O-·---¬----o---®-----o o O ° . | http://www.kiffen.de | pRoteçt y0ur bRaín |0 O ° ¤ ° · 0°·³°²'²³-¹'³´³°^°³~³²³°'³²²¨³²^³¹³²°²³`³º³°Þ ° o © ° . · | psychedelic experience | gott@kiffen.de | O ° o ° o-¬--o--0-----©-·--O-----o-----0-¤----------o 0 ° · ° . ¤ ·
