PHP Bug Type: Compile Failure
Bug description: LIBS in Makefile contains -Wl,-rpath which ld does not grok
Compiling PHP with apxs it inserts the string -Wl,-rpath into the variables
APXS_FLAGS and LIBS
I have to removed -Wl,-rpath from APXS_FLAGS to get it pass APXS
Also LIBS is passed to ld which does not grok -Wl which is used by gcc
to pass the field to ld. It would seem that apxs calls ld directly which would require that in cases
using apxs the -Wl should not be inserted
into LIBS
