I'm trying to install PHP4 under OS X as well. I'm just curious, is this server or client? I'm running DP4 (client) and it seems to compile just fine, but apache immediately dies (regardless of whether I use a DSO or compile statically). When I compile as a DSO, it still ends up as libphp4.a (static), but I can use apxs to manually compile libphp4.so, same problem though with Apache not starting up properly. serge Bug Database wrote: > > ID: 2226 > Updated by: zak > Reported By: pan@beloved.net > Status: Open > Bug Type: Installation problem > Assigned To: > Comments: > > Have asked Patrik Bengtsson <patrik.bengtsson@grafix.se> for some additional information > on Mac OS X > ------------------ > Hello Patrik, > > >From your PHP/QAT membership listing, I am guessing that you have managed to get PHP > >successfully running on Mac OS X... > > I am trying to close bug report for Mac OS X and need to get more information. > > Could you let me know what version you have installed, what modules your are running and how > difficult the install was? > > Thank you!------------------ > > Full Bug description available at: http://bugs.php.net/?id=2226 > > -- > PHP Development Mailing List <http://www.php.net/> > To unsubscribe, e-mail: php-dev-unsubscribe@lists.php.net > For additional commands, e-mail: php-dev-help@lists.php.net > To contact the list administrators, e-mail: php-list-admin@lists.php.net -- /* Serge Egelman Broadband Network Services "Never underestimate the power of human stupidity." - Lazarus Long */
