php-imap looks for mail.h and c-client.a So grab yourself the imap source, compile it and keep the source tree. When you configure php, point it to the imap source directory. Make symlink ./lib and ./include to c-client if necessary. Configure and compile php. hope this helps. ps. I think configure for imap module should be more flexible.... ----- Original Message ----- From: "Olivier Salaun - licence" <Olivier.Salaun@ifsic.univ-rennes1.fr> To: "Hartmut Holzgraefe" <hartmut@six.de> Cc: "Olivier Salaun - licence" <Olivier.Salaun@ifsic.univ-rennes1.fr>; "waldschrott" <waldschrott@kiffen.de>; "Stanislav Malyshev" <stas@zend.com>; <php-dev@lists.php.net> Sent: Tuesday, July 25, 2000 17:16 Subject: Re: [PHP-DEV] Imap > Hartmut Holzgraefe wrote: > > > Olivier Salaun - licence wrote: > > > > > > When i launch my php script, i have the following error: > > > Fatal error: Call to undefined function: imap_open() in > > > /www/htdocs/moderation.php on line 2 > > > I know it must be a stupid question but anyone can help me please ? > > > > your php installation has no imap support in it ?!? > > > > have a look at http://php.net/manual/ref.imap.php > > > > Yes i have followed all the step indicated and tried lot of things ... but > nothing to do ... when i launch the configure, i have the following error : > > "checking for IMAP support... configure: error: Cannot find imap library. > Please check your IMAP installation" > whereas i have imap.so in /usr/local/lib ... > > > > -- > PHP Development Mailing List <http://www.php.net/> > To unsubscribe, e-mail: php-dev-unsubscribe@lists.php.net > For additional commands, e-mail: php-dev-help@lists.php.net > To contact the list administrators, e-mail: php-list-admin@lists.php.net >
