Hello,
I attached an example of writing in the middle of a file.
When you call this php-script for the first time, it
will create a file called 'testfile.txt'.
When you call this script a second time, it will write
to the end of the file, instead of in the middle of it.
Each time you call the script, it will attach some text
to the file, while it should write in the middle of it.
I'm working on a WindowsNT workstation,
so I didn't set file-permissions for reading/writing.
If you're working on Linux/Unix, you may have to
add a line setting file-permissions, but the problem
of course stays the same.
Question: can I use the ftruncate() function of php4
in php3 someway?
Hope to hear from you soon,
Arthur Angelier
