From: derricuttm@pbworld.com
Operating system: Windows NT
PHP version: 3.0.5
PHP Bug Type: Misbehaving function
Bug description: fopen() fails to open files starting with http://
Under Apache/NT/PHP the following line of code fails:
$fp = fopen("http://slashdot.org/ultramode.txt","r");
This generates the following error:
Warning: fopen("http://slashdot.org/ultramode.txt","r")
- No such file or directory in c:\program files\apache group\apache\htdocs\index.phtml on line 37.
The same script works properly under Apache/Linux/PHP.
