question/suggestion from me: how will we go throught the steps and remove or update the deedback status bugs can we try to identify assign developer by platform then by problem? is there an interface on the php site for QA group to update the status bug? And can we be emailed with problem we sign up to. may be like run a report from the web interface then emailed to us? May be the developer will not have the platform for them self to test on. if the issue is too difficult to tackle then we can try to escalate to other developer. And for module specific problem we can always try to assign to module specific developer. > -----Original Message----- > From: Zak Greant [mailto:zak@php.net] > Sent: Thursday, July 27, 2000 2:10 PM > To: php-qa@lists.php.net > Cc: php-dev@lists.php.net > Subject: [PHP-DEV] PHP/QA Update #2 > > > Hello All, > > Here is another quick update on the QA effort. > > After less than a week, all of the bug packs have been reviewed. > > This has cut the number of open bug reports down to 336 - a very nice > change, considering there were about 670 open bugs only last week. :) > > Now that we have combed through the bug list for reports that are easy to > close, I think that we should probably try to organize and group the > remaining bugs so that the developers and other interested > parties can try > and tackle them. > > I propose that we go through the following steps. > > 1.)
