PHP3 Cannot recognize Javascript parameters "parent.frames[x]"?????

I wrote a pure html file with some javascrips and multiFrames.
Php3 publish the html file normally in IE5, and Javascript word "
alert("some words") " work well,
But such as "alert(parent.frames[0].form.text.value)" can not work.!
Why?
Can not php3 SUPPORT multiFrames HTML??
Can you help me?
