What is the status of GD configuration? I try to build with GD 1.8.1 from
RedHat and it keeps failing, log showing lots of things like:
configure:14141: checking for gdImageCreateFromJpeg in -lgd
configure:14160: gcc -o conftest -g -O2 conftest.c -lgd -ljpeg -lgd
-lresolv -lm -ldl -lcrypt -lnsl -lresolv -L/usr/lib -ljpeg 1>&5
/usr/lib/libgd.so: undefined reference to `uncompress'
/usr/lib/libgd.so: undefined reference to `png_set_dither'
/usr/lib/libgd.so: undefined reference to `TT_New_Glyph'
etc., etc. lots of undefined symbols from libz, libpng and libttf. Is
there any way so that GD can be configured with --with-gd? I can start
hacking generated configs and insert all needed libraries, but can it
somehow be automated?
