PHP Bug Type: Compile Failure
Bug description: PHP 4.0.1 references gd library functions that are NO LONGER part of gd.
As of at least gd-1.8.3, the gd library NO LONGER supports GIF. The main gd web site even states
that calls to functions like "gdImageGif" need to be changed to "gdImagePng" (or
something like that).
