From: patrick@music-images.nl Operating system: WINDOWS N.T. PHP version: 4.0.0 PHP Bug Type: Reproduceable crash Bug description: Crash when file not found! When trying to overwrite TRANSLATED_PATH in order to get php accepting scripts from stdin (but more overriding of environment variables was needed) php crashed because he couldn't find the file necessary. PHP3 generates the message file not found. I would wanted that if not path information is found cgi mode would be off and he would accept script code from stdin after postdata, but that is inpossible because the variable REQUEST_METHOD is used as an CGI check. ie. I was forced to remove all variables making php detect it's run as a cgi including REQUEST_METHOD before php accepted script from stdin (which I redirected). But I also wanted REQUEST_METHOD to exist, which conflicted. (That makes him probably force to look at a file which doesn't exist?) Crash: REAL_PHP caused an invalid page fault in module PHP4TS.DLL at 0177:1007d14e.
