if I want to check if a file is on a server I use the following: ($file is specified in the url) if(file_exists("$file")) { echo " bla bla bla" } but when there is a file on the server called "File" and the file he´s looking for is "file" he doesn´t find it, so his seach is case sensetive. My question is now: Is it possible to make this search in- case sensitive??

BTW, you can use system() calls, eg. "dir" or "ls" or the PHP directory pseudo objects, read the manual on directory function or so... -- o----------0-¬---------O-·---¬----o---®-----o o O ° . | http://www.kiffen.de | pRoteçt y0ur bRaín |0 O ° ¤ ° · 0°·³°²'²³-¹'³´³°^°³~³²³°'³²²¨³²^³¹³²°²³`³º³°Þ ° o © ° . · | psychedelic experience | gott@kiffen.de | O ° o ° o-¬--o--0-----©-·--O-----o-----0-¤----------o 0 ° · ° . ¤ ·
