When using the SID constant in the URL, with cookies disabled in the browser, like so: print("<a href=\"foo.php?" . SID . "\">"); the session ID appears twice in the URL, like so: <a href="foo.php?Foobar=c83d394a4abf9bee89571af1cb5bdcc8&Foobar=c83d394a4abf9bee89571af1cb5bdcc8"> I don't know if this contributes to the bug, but obviously I've also called session_name("Foobar"); before using SID. Also, the ampersand in the URL is not valid HTML; the URL should read <a href="foo.php?Foobar=c83d394a4abf9bee89571af1cb5bdcc8&amp;Foobar=c83d394a4abf9bee89571af1cb5bdcc8"> Full Bug description available at: http://bugs.php.net/?id=6165
