PHP 4.0 Bug #3978 Updated: checking for gdImageCreateFromPng in -lgd... no (yes in 4.0 Beta 3)

Hi, I have the same exact problem since beta3. With beta3, gd+png support was fine, then, starting with PHP 4.0.1-dev (because suEXEC support was missing in between and I have switched from module to cgi), png wasn't available anymore for me on this specific platform (whereas it works fine with RH6.2 with brand new gd and png libs). So, I tried with libpng 1.0.6, 1.0.7 and with gd from 1.8 to 1.8.3 but I can't get png support.
