Andreas Otto and Daniel Beulshausen have done some excellent work in
producing Windows versions of the various extensions.
If we are going to include these in the Windows release, then php.ini-dist
ought to be modified to include the full range of modules.
Given the current range of modules available, and the fact that mysql and
odbc are built in, I think the relevant section of the ini file should look
like this:
;Windows Extensions
;NB support for MySQL and ODBC are built in to the Windows release of php
;and therefore no longer require entries in this section.
;extension=php_calendar.dll
;extension=php_cpdf.dll
;extension=php_curl.dll
;extension=php_cybercash.dll
;extension=php_db.dll
;extension=php_domxml.dll
;extension=php_exif.dll
;extension=php_fdf.dll
;extension=php_ftp.dll
;extension=php_gd.dll
;extension=php_gettext.dll
;extension=php_imap.dll
;extension=php_ifx.dll
;extension=php_interbase.dll
;extension=php_java.dll
;extension=php_ldap.dll
;extension=php_mssql65.dll
;extension=php_mssql70.dll
;extension=php_oci8.dll
;extension=php_pdf.dll
;extension=php_pgsql.dll
;extension=php_zlib.dll
Also, judging by the php.ini shipped by Andreas and Daniel, there needs to
be a section for Java. Theirs reads:
[Java]
java.library.path = c:\php\extensions\
java.class.path = c:\php\extensions\php_java.jar
java.home = c:\jdk1.3
java.library = c:\php\dlls\jvm.dll
Does anyone object to these changes, and if not, can someone with a CVS
account 'make it so'?
Cheers
