This one doesn't generate any memory leaks. You need something more complicated. If you compile PHP in debug mode, you'll see the leaks by yourself. But not every circular ref seems to generate it. I cannot think out of the blue which ones do and which don't, this needs careful analysis of engine behaviour and it's too late for this :)
I´m sure this one does ;) unfortunately I´m not able to build debug builds on win32, thus I think I can´t determine... (backtraces sent!) $o->x->a=1; $o->y->a=1; $o->x->y=&$o->x; $o->y->x=&$o->x; $o->y->o=&$o; $o->x->o=&$o; var_dump($o->x); ok. you can´t explain out of the blue, maybe it´s not that important and I should forget about and come up with it again if I´m experiencing strange memory problems regards -- o----------0-¬---------O-·---¬----o---®-----o o O ° . | http://www.kiffen.de | pRoteçt y0ur bRaín |0 O ° ¤ ° · 0°·³°²'²³-¹'³´³°^°³~³²³°'³²²¨³²^³¹³²°²³`³º³°Þ ° o © ° . · | psychedelic experience | gott@kiffen.de | O ° o ° o-¬--o--0-----©-·--O-----o-----0-¤----------o 0 ° · ° . ¤ ·
