Hello,
Currently we are using Net.Data as our Internet Solutions, however, I've personally used PHP
for quite some time now.
After a long time of trying, I finally, in a meeting, with management, convinced them we should use
PHP for various reason.
Now I'm left with the task of incorporating PHP4 with the IBM HTTP Server.
I understand that I should run PHP as a CGI program on the server. From the IBM pub libs is states:
Exec /QSYS.LIB/nnnnnnnn.LIB/*
where nnnnnnnn is the library where the CGI program is stored.
But isn't the php.exe binary data? The IBM HTTP Server people say that ..EXE files can only be
stored on the IFS, rather then the QSYS library. Anyone have any ideas on that?
When I compile PHP as an exe, do I have to do it on the AS/400 or can I do it on my local windows
machine?
To connect to a DB2 library do I need to compile with the --with-ibm-db2 switch?
Any help, direction, or tutorials would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Brad Atkins
